You might have noticed that there are quite a few organizations active in protecting our oceans these days. It's getting harder and harder to untangle this web of independent organizations, who are all fighting to save our oceans and thereby our planet. The idea of this public data base is to get a grip of what is happening where and how. This will be achieved by mapping out how many organizations are where and what they do. by providing this public overview of organizations we try to show; overlap between organizations, promote collaborations, display where conservation effort is missing, make communication between organizations easier, find funds and try to improve marine conservation and thereby protect our oceans.
